FOHAT IN THE VEIL

LOOK 5

A three-piece dress with the upper portion of the dress created from Tunisian yellow silk organza. This fabric undergoes a painstaking hand-pleating process, followed by a stylized draping in a floral motif, demonstrating an intricate level of detail and dedication to creating a visually eye catching silhouette. Transitioning to the lower segment, the skirt is composed of Atlantis blue cowl-draped silk chiffon, offering a stark but harmonious contrast in color and texture that enhances the overall look of the garment. The train extends in a sculpted form, employing both draped and hand-pleated silk gazar, which adds a sculptural dimension to the overall design, reinforcing the garment’s architectural elegance. Remarkably, the dress uses a braided center back which has a hook & eye closure forgoing the need for a traditional zipper. The ensemble is crowned with a sculpted blue electric wire headpiece, adorning the top of the dress and attached to the upper body, encapsulating a fusion of traditional craftsmanship and innovative aesthetics.
