THE NEBULA’S SHROUD

A CORE OF CELESTIAL RADIANCE
A hauntingly beautiful silhouette from the Painting the Moon collection, this piece captures the ephemeral glow of a meteor’s core. The Nebula’s Shroud is a study in ethereal weightlessness and structural defiance, channeling the “Moon Museum’s” spirit of pioneering artistic exploration.
The dress is masterfully constructed from light grey silk crepe, featuring intricate hand-draping and precision pleating that clings like lunar dust. Rising from the shoulder is an architectural “Chamberlain” hood—a soft-sculpture masterpiece built upon a hidden exoskeleton of pink paper-nylon tulle and enveloped in diaphanous lavender silk organza. The hem provides an industrial contrast, crafted from sculptural aluminum mesh and adorned with delicate coque feathers that mimic the trail of cosmic debris.
