SENTINEL OF THE FAR SIDE

ARCHITECTURAL LUNAR DEFENSE
A profound synthesis of historical elegance and industrial fortification, Sentinel of the Far Side serves as the ultimate guardian of the collection’s narrative. This piece reclaims the dramatic silhouettes of Charles James, recontextualizing them through a lens of extraterrestrial exploration and “creative defiance.”
The ensemble is a technical triumph in two parts. The bodice is crafted from delicate navy Chantilly lace, providing a soft, intimate contrast to the monumental architecture of the skirt. Built upon a rigid understructure of meters of industrial fiberglass mesh, the skirt is enveloped in structured silk gazar that appears to hover and expand from the back, creating a gravity-defying, mid-century couture silhouette. The piece is crowned with a hand-sculpted steel mesh face covering—a literal sentinel’s mask—anchored to the shoulders by repurposed Maybach hubcaps, merging the pinnacle of automotive luxury with the raw necessity of lunar survival.
