OPUS VII: FLOWER DUET/ THE BIRTH OF IMPASTO
Executed 2026
Opus VII manifests the Impasto technique—a revolutionary draping language where fabric is worked in layers of silk organza, hand-pleated, hand-twisted, and sculpted like clay to mimic the thick brushstrokes of a master painter. This method defines the work, utilizing pure hand manipulation to create three-dimensional movement in vibrant orange, deep violet, and mint green. These sculptural forms are anchored by the Bernini-inspired Flower Duet, featuring the fluid elegance of black lace and white silk gazar. Across 9 high-art masterworks, the dialogue between tactile “Impasto” and the graceful “Bernini” technique redefines the artist’s touch. Personally hand-crafted by the Maestro from conception to final stitch.
MOODBOARD
Flower Duet: The Birth of Impasto manifests the visceral, three-dimensional legacy of art’s great texture pioneers. This work translates the vibrant florals of Van Gogh’s Irises and the gestural depths of Frank Auerbach into a tactile sartorial language. Orchestrated to the melodic swells of Léo Delibes, the masterworks bridge the gap between canvas and cloth, utilizing pure hand manipulation to echo the physical energy of a brushstroke. Rhythmic movement and sculptural intensity define this journey, evolving from fluid grace into an impasto-inspired future where every fold is a testament to the Maestro’s touch.
